The video game company introduced its own internal payment system in mid-August in Fortnite for mobile devices, an alternative to the official Apple App Store and Google Play platforms on Android. Apple has responded to the complaint by Epic Games, developer of the popular video game Fortnite, against App Store commissions and has in turn filed a lawsuit against the studio (Epic) for breach of contract, by implementing a payment system external without paying these fees. The video game company introduced in mid-August in Fortnite for mobile devices its own internal payment system, an alternative to the official Apple App Store and Google Play platforms on Android, which earn commissions of up to 30 percent. Paying Epic directly was also cheaper than the transactions reviewed by Apple. Following this decision, Apple removed its application from the App Store, for which Epic Games filed a complaint against both companies for monopolistic practices, and Apple later withdrew Epic's developer profile and with it all its video games. Now, the company led by Tim Cook has responded and assured that the Epic Games complaint "is nothing more than a basic disagreement over money", as reflected in the lawsuit filed this Tuesday in a court in the northern district of California (United States) . tech tech tech tech tech tech tech tech tech tech
